From Wardrobe to Working Website

How we helped Cornwall National Landscape turn a Management Plan framework into a live, content-rich website.

From Wardrobe to Working Website

Emma Browning-Fitch, Team and Partnership Manager at Cornwall National Landscape, had an idea.

Create a “wardrobe”. A structure ready to hang the next five years of Management Plan content.

The brief was to build that framework. A set of digital assets designed to hold and organise content once the new Management Plan was ready.

But as the project developed, it became clear that an empty structure would be difficult to understand, test and share with stakeholders.

So we went beyond the original brief.

Working from the existing Management Plan, we populated the platform ourselves. Turning 277 pages of source material into something people can actually move through online. Themes, journeys, policies, objectives and 12 sections, all connected and designed to be explored rather than downloaded.

The result is a live, content-rich platform, supported by a flexible editing system and a dedicated CSR hub for business engagement.

Their Management Plan consultation is now live until 3rd May, giving people the chance to help shape the next five years for Cornwall National Landscape. The site will continue to grow alongside it.
